Colorado Child Welfare County Workload Study
The report was released in August 2014; it was conducted for the Colorado Office fo the State Auditor, which was in the process of a performance audit of the Colorado Department of Human Services Child Welfare Agency. The study assessed county child welfare workloads. The authors found that in February 2014 the estimated time required to complete mandated child welfare activities and to meet program objectives exceeded the amount of time available from the current number of Colorado child welfare case workers.
