North Carolina Auditor Performance Audit: Department Of Health & Human Services Division Of Medical Assistance Medicaid Provider Eligibility

In this report released on August 15, 2015, North Carolina’s state auditor presented findings from a review of approved Medicaid provider enrollments during calendar year 2012. Two samples were reviewed: 100 higher risk applications approved by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Medical Assistance (DMA) and 200 approved by DMA’s outsourced provider enrollment contractor.
