Board Of County Commissioners Of Oklahoma County Second Demand Letter To The Oklahoma Department Of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services For Reimbursement Of Unspent Funding Per An ARPA Subrecipient Agreement
In this letter dated August 20, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners of Oklahoma County again asked the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) to return the county's $1.5 million contribution to a project to build a new 330-bed psychiatric hospital in the county. The project was intended to replace the existing Griffin Memorial Hospital in the county. Most of the funding was through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
