U.S. District Court, Southern District Of Texas, Corpus Christi Division Order Granting Class Certification In M.D., v. Perry

On August 27, 2013, the U.S. District Court, Southern District Of Texas, Corpus Christi Division granted class action status to the lawsuit M.D. v Perry. The plaintiffs asked the court to certify one general class and four subclasses. The general class in M.D. v. Perry includes more than 12,000 children in foster care.
