First Annual Report Next Generation Accountable Care Organization Model Evaluation

The report was released on August 27, 2018, by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The report was written by researchers with NORC at the University of Chicago. The researchers presented initial and descriptive and analytic findings for the 18 Next Generation accountable care organizations (NextGen ACOs) that launched in 2016, were active for at least one quarter, and were financially responsible during the first program year.
