New Hampshire DHHS Memo To Medicaid Provider Organizations Regarding Participation In The MCM Program

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services’ memo to the state’s Medicaid providers gives an update on provider participation in the Medicaid Care Management (MCM) program. MCM is a managed care model that established a health plan for Medicaid recipients, in contract with three managed care organizations (MCOs). The program will begin on December 1, 2013. Providers should participate in the MCM program by contracting with one of the MCOs so that they can continue to treat their Medicaid clients at predictable reimbursement rates.
