Second Amendment To U.S. v. Anthem et. al.

On August 28, 2024, the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Indiana - Indianapolis Division published this second amendment to the U.S. v. Anthem et. al whistleblower complaint. The plaintiffs are the state of Indiana. The defendants include four Indiana managed care entities and six hospital systems. The plaintiffs allege that the managed care entities “knowingly and improperly” misused Medicaid funds to pay claims that violate billing requirements.
