New York Department Of Health Update On Duals Demonstration & Memorandum Of Understanding With CMS

On August 26, 2013, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the New York State Department of Health (DOH) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) the governs the terms of New York’s planned demonstration project to integrate Medicare and Medicaid services for beneficiaries dually eligible for both programs. The project is slated to start by July 2014 and run through December 2017. In this document, DOH presented a summary and update to the project.
