16-State Study on Mental Health Performance Measures
September 1, 2003 The report presents data about the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Center for Mental Health Services efforts to develop a data standard and report card for grant programs funded by state mental health authorities. The focus is a three-year pilot program that started in 1998 with 16 state grantees funded to test drive 32 performance indicators. The grantees worked to assess and refine indicators that tested system access, appropriateness, outcome, and program management performance on a statewide basis.
