United States v. Country Villa Health Services, et al.

On September 2, 2014, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California filed a civil False Claims Act complaint against the owners, operators, and manager of two nursing homes in Watsonville, California alleging that the quality of care at the two facilities was so poor that billing Medicare and Medicaid constituted fraud.
