CDC Interim Guidance For Rapid Antigen Testing For COVID-19
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued the interim guidance on September 4, 2020. It outlines how and when to use rapid antigen testing for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) during the pandemic. Rapid antigen tests can be used for screening testing in high-risk congregate settings in which repeat testing could quickly identify persons with a COVID-19 infection to inform infection prevention and control measures, thus preventing transmission.
