“I Want to Go Home”: Reevaluating DDA’s Children’s Services to Prevent Hospitalization & Out-Of-State Placement
On September 14, 2022, the Washington Office of Developemental Disability Ombuds published this report that reevaluates the Developmental Disabilities Administration's (DDA's) children’s services to prevent hospitalization and out-of-state placement. The purpose of the report is to share the stories of youth and their families who have been affected by being stuck in the hospital or have been sent to out-of-state placements.
