N.B. v. Norwood Settlement

On September 6, 2016, federal judge Jorge Alonso granted preliminary approval for the Illinois Medicaid proposed Settlement Agreement that would resolve the class action lawsuit, N.B. v Norwood. The proposed Settlement Agreement would provide the class members, children under age 21 diagnosed with behavioral health disorders, with access to a continuum of Medicaid-authorized mental and behavioral health services, including home- and community-based services, that may be needed to address their conditions.
