On September 17, 2025, the Delaware Insurance Commission announced the completion of a follow-up Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (“Mental Health Parity”) examination of UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company. Its investigation included reviews of complaint and grievance handling, policyholder services, claims, utilization review, medical necessity criteria, pharmacy review, and oversight of contracted Pharmacy Benefit Managers and Third-Party Administrators.
