On September 17, 2025, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) published these estimates from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) regarding sources of health insurance among adults with long COVID. This report found that in early 2024, 3.4% of U.S. civilian noninstitutionalized adults currently had long COVID, and 65.3% had private insurance or TRICARE, 23.2% had public coverage, and 11.3% were uninsured . . .
