VA HEALTH CARE: Actions Needed to Address Higher-Than-Expected Demand for the Family Caregiver Program

The report was released in September 2014 by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). The GAO reviewed the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Family Caregiver Program. To assess the VHA implementation of the Family Caregiver Program, the GAO met with officials from the VHA Caregiver Support Program office and reviewed program documentation and policy manuals.
