The report, released in September 2014, was written by Grace Anglin, Adam Swinburn, Leslie Foster, Cindy Brach, and Linda Bergofsky for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The report is an implementation guide developed through the National Evaluation of the CHIPRA Quality Demonstration Grant Program. In 2010, the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded 10 grants to 18 states to fund 52 projects to improve the quality of health care for children enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP.
