September 13, 2007 Report on a Roundtable Discussion of Strategies for Private Health Insurance The Bazelon Center For Mental Health Law released a report on a roundtable discussion of strategies for private health insurance to integrate primary care and behavioral health. The discussion focused on private-sector efforts to integrate care. The participants outlined several ways to improve treatment including: setting realistic goals and timelines; considering the results of untreated behavioral health disorders; and planning for integration.
