On September 27, 2021, the New York State Governor Kathy Hochul published this exeuctive order, declaring a statewide disaster emergency due to health care staffing shortages in the State of New York. The declaration allows out-of-state care providers, including physicians, registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), midwives, clinical nurse specialists, licensed master social workers, and licensed clinical social workers to treat individuals in New York via telehealth.
