Transforming Juvenile Justice in Texas: A Framework for Action
September 2007 In April 2007, the Texas Youth Commission (TYC) requested that a task force make recommendations about how the agency could improve the state juvenile justice system. A task force was created to consider the systemic problems at TYC. The researchers were focused on re-designing the health care, education, treatment and case management at TYC and creating a better overall juvenile justice system in Texas.
