Beaver County Behavioral Health Secure TeleHealth Pilot Project

October 2008 Beaver County Behavioral Health in Beaver County, Pennsylvania is engaged in a pilot project with Secure TeleHealth to test the viability of providing peer support for individuals with mental illness via two-way video conferencing. The pilot, approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare, Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services will help peer mentors and peer specialists connect with selected homebound individuals with mental illness in a variety of settings.  It started October 8, 2008, and will run through June 30, 2009.
