Tennessee Child Welfare In-Home Tennessee Framework

On September 30, 2013, the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services (DCS) was awarded a federal waiver to use Title IV-E foster care funds to expand the existing In-Home Tennessee initiative that provides wraparound family preservation services to children up through age 17 in DCS custody but not in an out-of-home placement. DCS plans to start its five-year demonstration project in October 2014, with a staggered regional rollout.
