TennCare RFP 31865-00368 Seeking Managed Care Organizations, Amendment 1

On October 8, 2013, the State of Tennessee issued an amended request for proposals (RFP) seeking bids on three regional TennCare Medicaid managed care contracts. The managed care organization contractors will provide physical health services, behavioral health services, and long-term services and supports for all populations, including individuals eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid. Proposals are due by November 21, 2013. Awards are anticipated by January 1, 2104. Implementation is slated to start in 2015 through 2016.
