Medicare Advantage Value-Based Insurance Design Model Request For Applications, For 2017

On October 9, 2015, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released this request for applications (RFA) seeking Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAO) to participate in the Medicare Advantage Value-Based Insurance Design Model (MA-VBID). The MA-VBID model allows Medicare Advantage plans to offer supplemental benefits to certain enrollees with chronic conditions, but exclude general enrollees from receiving those benefits.
