Maryland Proposal To Modernize All-Payer Hospital System
On January 10, 2014, the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) moved forward with a hospital cost containment plan affecting all hospitals in the state and all payers that will seek to reduce hospital admissions and related costs by implementing multiple global payment strategies.
