Letter To KanCare I/DD Program About Managed Care Waiver Services

As of January 1, 2014, Kansas Medicaid will shift responsibility for all intellectual and developmental disability services to the states three KanCare Medicaid managed care organizationsAmerigroup Kansas, Sunflower State Health Plan, and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan. Medicaid beneficiaries with developmental disabilities are already enrolled in KanCare for their dental, behavioral health, medical, pharmacy and vision services. This letter to beneficiaries informs them of the coming shift.
