In October 2014, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a mobile application to identify brain trauma and changes in cognitive function. The application is called DANA, it is a mobile cognitive task performance recorder that allows clinical professionals to objectively test the speed and accuracy of an individual’s reaction times to a series of game-like tasks.
