Expenditures for Mental Health Among Adults, Ages 18-64, 2009-2011: Estimates for the U.S. Civilian Noninstitutionalized Population
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) released the report in October 2014. The report presents estimates based on the Household Component of the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS-HC) on the use of and expenditures related to mental health disorders among adults ages 18 to 64 in the U.S. civilian noninstitutionalized population. The analysis presents utilization and expenditures by payer and by demographic variables. Costs are adjusted to 2011 values.
