Jimmo v. Sebelius Proposed Settlement

On October 16, 2012, a proposed settlement was released for the lawsuit, Jimmo v. Sebelius. The proposed settlement has been submited to the district court judge to be approved. Upon approval, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will revise the Medicare Benefit Policy Manual and other Medicare Manuals to correct suggestions that Medicare coverage is dependent on a beneficiary "improving."
