Settlement Agreement Draft In Ball v. DeWine, Class Notice

On October 18, 2019, the United States District Court of the Southern District of Ohio issued this settlement for the case Ball v. DeWine. The parties have decided to settle the case instead of going to a trial. The provisions of the settlement agreement include but are not limited to; expanding options counseling and pre-admission counseling programs; maintaining peer-to-peer and family-to-family programs and exploratory community visits for people who have not yet made a decision; and expanding access to state-funded individual options waivers for people who choose a waiver . . .
