The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care seeks a managed care organization (MCO) for a full-risk capitated contract to manage Medicaid behavioral health services. Currently behvioral health services are managed by Magellan of Nebraska as an administrative service organization. The selected MCO will operate a pre-paid inpatient health plan called the Nebraska Behavioral Health Managed Care Program that provides mental health and substance abuse disorder services to children, youth, and adults enrolled in the Nebraska Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Plan programs.
