Nebraska Division Of Children & Family Services Title IV-E Legislative Briefing

On October 18, 2013, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced that the Division of Children and Family Services (CFS) was awarded a federal foster care Title IV-E waiver implement alternative response and performance-based contracting for preventive services. Nebraska will receive a capped allotment of $153 million federal and state Title IV-E dollars to use over five years.
