Massachusetts Group Insurance Commission Request For Responses GICPND1302 Providing Behavioral Health & Employee Assistance ProgramServices To State Employees & Retirees

On October 26, 2012, the Massachusetts Group Insurance Commission (GIC) released a request for response (RFR) seeking a behavioral health organization (BHO) to administer behavioral health (BH) benefits, as well as to provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for state employees and retirees. Slated to start July 1, 2013, the three-year initial contract term is followed by two one-year optional extensions. Proposals are due November 20, 2012. The GIC contract provides benefits for approximately 180,000 to 246,000 members. The group includes active state and municipal employees and retirees, survivors, and dependents.
