Wisconsin CHIP State Plan Amendment To Add Housing Supports

On October 27, 2022, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services published this approval to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services title XXI Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) state plan amendment (SPA) to add housing supports. Through this SPA, Wisconsin will use title XXI funding for a health services initiative (HSI) to provide housing supports services for low-income families with children under 19 and pregnant individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
