June 2006 U.S. Healthcare Industry HIPAA Compliance Survey Results: Summer 2006 This semi-annual survey was conducted by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and Phoenix Health Systems to monitor and report on industry compliance with the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) as an informational and educational service.
