National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS): 2011

In November 2012, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) published a national survey on substance abuse treatment services. The survey was designed to collect data on the location, characteristics, and use of alcohol and drug abuse treatment facilities and services throughout the United States. The survey includes a description of the National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS), trends in facility characteristics, trends in client characteristics, facility characteristics and services, client characteristics, and state data.
