Oklahoma Human Service Commission Resolution To Close Developmental Centers NORCE & SORC

November 1, 2012
The Oklahoma Developmental Disabilities Services Division (DDSD) is preparing to close its last developmental centers over the next two years by transitioning the approximately 230 residents to community-based homes and supportive services. This document is the resolution adopted in November 2012 directing DDSD to close the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center (SORC) by April 30, 2014, and the Northern Oklahoma Resource Center at Enid (NORCE) by August 31, 2015
