In November 2013, the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) State Health Reform Assistance Network released a brief on the implementation of the Affordable Care Act's (ACA's) Hospital Presumptive Eligibility Option as it applies to individual states for certain Medicaid eligible populations. The brief provides information on: Qualified Provider Requirements; Training and Certification; Performance Standards; Plan Enrollment and Payment; and an Appendix on Current Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility Practices in Select States (California, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Wyoming).
