 November 4, 2005 KY Health ChoicesIn recent months, the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) has set the stage for a major transformation of the Kentucky Medicaid program. This transformation, entitled KyHealth Choices, began with the development of a strong infrastructure which included improvements to the MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System), pharmacy benefit administration and the Department's utilization management and clinical review process.
