October 16, 2007 The Vermont Department of Mental Health is developing a systems plan for the Vermont State Hospital (VSH) that integrates required hospital services functionality across multiple products from different vendors, with several implementations in process or planning, including admissions/discharge/transfer (ADT), billing, pharmacy, and risk management functions. The electronic health record (EHR) solution must be designed for interoperability within this environment.
