On November 6, Connecticut's Attorney General George Jepsen wrote a letter regarding the plans of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services plans to terminate a large number of doctors from its Medicare Advantage Plan network in Connecticut. The letter outlines the Connecticut Attorney General's Office's difficulty achieving compliance in communicating with their office in the matter of doctor termination, particularly with regard to the number of doctors terminated and the number of patients affected .
