California Statewide Training and Education Committee Ongoing Training Requirements: Executive Summary and Recommendations

November 9, 2004 The ongoing training recommendations outlined in this report are designed to support the improvement of outcomes for California's children and families affiliated with the Child Welfare Services Program. The proposed requirements outline basic standards while also encouraging a vision of ongoing training as integral to effective and best practice. These statewide recommendations build upon California's existing training and training structures and advocate the use of individualized training plans whenever possible.
