Letter From Kaiser Permanente Confirming That ABA Is A Covered Service For Oregon Children Diagnosed With Autism

Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest notified Paul Terdal, an autism advocate in Oregon, that its health maintenance organizations that serve Oregon and Washington do cover applied behavior analysis treatment for members diagnosed with autism. Oregon does not have an autism insurance mandate requiring commercial health plans to cover the treatment. Washington State does have a mandate.
