Texas Foster Care Redesign – Request For Information

On November 12, 2014, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) released a request for information (RFI) seeking comments on its plans for statewide expansion of the Foster Care Redesign (FCR) model. Following a cost analysis of the first two contracts awarded in 2013, DFPS is now considering a range of enhancements and clarifications to the initiative. The RFI provides prospective bidders and stakeholders an opportunity to review and comment on the planned changes before the formal release of any subsequent request for proposals (RFP).
