22 State Petition To CMS Requesting Repeal Of Medicare & Medicaid Programs; Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination IFR

On November 17, 2022, Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen submitted this petition on behalf of 22 states to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requesting the repeal of Medicare and Medicaid Programs as outlined in the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) health care staff vaccination interim final rule (IFR) omnibus. This petition notes that, because of new knowlege of the rate of COVID-19 infection and transmission despite vaccination, that the IFR, which has caused staffing shortages, should be lifted . . .
