The tables are from the 2011, National Survey on Drug Use and Health, which is conducted annually by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration in face to face interviews with a nationally representative sample of the civilian, non-institutionalized population over age 12 in the United States. The survey collects data about mental health symptoms, service utilization, use of illegal drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.
