California DHCS: Introducing the New Automated Level 1 PASRR Submission Form

In this presentation dated November 25, 2014, the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) described an automated preadmission screening and resident review (PASRR) system slated to launch in January 2015. The system will replace the existing paper-based system that requires Medicaid nursing facilities (NFs) and general acute care hospitals (GACHs) to fax or mail PASRR Level I forms (DHCS 6170) to DHCS.
