November 30, 2006 This report outlines the recommendations made by the Florida Governor's Ex-Offender Task Force for reducing recidivism and helping released inmates adjust to life in their communities again. The Report has gathered various statistics on the crime population in Florida - the nation's third largest behind California and Texas. The recommendations are addressed at the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC).
