Texas HHS Individualized Skills & Socialization Webinar, November 2022

On November 30, 2022, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) published this webinar handout regarding individualized skills and socialization. HHSC is required under state law to replace day habilitation services in Medicaid 1915(c) home and community-based services (HCBS) waiver programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) with more integrated services that maximize participation and integration of individuals with IDD in the community.
