December 2007 The Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) Home-and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Autism Waiver services will target children up to the age of five who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, including autism, Aspergers Syndrome, and other pervasive developmental disorders. Children will be eligible to enter the program from the age of diagnosis through the age of five. The Autism Waiver services will be limited to three years, unless medically necessary.
